A small urban garden in Rayleigh.
The Buxus balls and hedge create year round structure and interest. The Magnolia tree in the background was an existing feature when design work began and well worth retaining. It has been under planted with ferns and Hellebores. Stepping stones lead to the swim spa. The border at the rear of the garden is planted with shrubs to hide the fence and under planted with herbaceous perennials. The two large Beech trees have been under planted with woodland plants.
